The Tennessean is reporting today that Metro Council will now consider a wheel tax increase. Metro Council is now trying to raise our taxes three different ways: property, sales, AND wheel. PLEASE call 862-6780 (this is the Metro Council staff office number) and find the name of your council member and PLEASE CALL them. We will be invisible to Metro Council unless we call.

Always be polite but firm and tell them NO NEW TAXES!! Remember, they are coming after YOUR money and this is YOUR government. Rest assured that all the folks that want to raise your taxes are already calling.

Then after you call your council member PLEASE call these at-large members who represent us all. PLEASE act TODAY. Time is running OUT.
